Cross linked, closed cell PVC foam is the standard by which all other structural foams are measured. It is process friendly, has good strength & stiffness properties, is non-friable and is available in a wide range of densities. It is suitable for most structural core applications including marine hulls, decks etc., wind turbine blades, land transportation parts and many other applications.
|
- High strength & stiffness to weight ratio
- Good impact strength
- Low resin absorption
- Good fire performance
- High fatigue resistance
- Non biodegradable
- Good sound & thermal insulation
- Good styrene resistance

PVC Linear Foam Core
|
 |
Linear PVC foam has exceptional impact and fatigue properties. It thermoforms easily and does not outgas. Linear PVC is the ultimate core for high impact parts such as hull slamming areas. With its relatively low service temperature it is not recommended for decks or superstructures.
|
- Excellent impact & fatigue performance
- Thermoformable
- Does not outgas
- Low moisture absorption
- Closed cell
- Good sound & thermal insulation
