Cross-linked, closed-cell PVC foam is the standard by which all other structural foams are measured.

PVC is process friendly, has solid strength & stiffness properties, is non-friable, and is available in a wide range of densities and finishes. It is suitable for most structural core applications including marine hulls, decks, wind turbine blades, land transportation parts, and a wide range other applications.

  • High strength & stiffness-to-weight ratio

  • Good impact strength

  • Low resin absorption

  • Good fire performance

  • High fatigue resistance

  • Non-biodegradable

  • Good sound & thermal insulation

  • Good styrene resistance

  • Densities as low as 3.7lb/cu. ft (60kg/cu. m) and as high as 8.1lb/cu. ft (130kg/cu. m)
